Terms of use

These terms cover the Kalup website, app, API and Shopify app ("Kalup"). Kalup is provided by Infinity Systems LLC ("we"). [Registered address to be added.]

What Kalup does

Kalup makes packaging files from the product data you give and checks them against print rules and the labelling rules it knows. Every report says "Review, not certification." Kalup does not certify that a label is legally compliant. You, as the food business operator, responsible person, manufacturer or importer, stay responsible for your label and for the data you enter.

Your account and your data

You keep all rights to your product data, files and artwork. You give us the right to store and process them only to run Kalup for you. You must not upload data you have no right to use.

Text written with the help of a model

Some steps use a language model: reading a free-text brief, proposing a look, translating marketing text. Mandatory label text always comes from our rule data, not from the model. Text that a model translated is marked "needs human review".

Payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid month. Importer batches are invoiced after delivery, by the prices on the pricing page or in your order.

Limits of liability

Kalup is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for print costs, recalls or fines that come from a label you approved.

Changes

We will email you at least 30 days before a change to these terms that affects you.
