What we store and why

• Your email address: to sign you in with a link and to send you service emails (contract).
• Product data, files and reports you make: to run Kalup for you (contract). Kept while your account exists, deleted 30 days after you close it.
• Approval records (name, optional email, time, IP address, browser): to prove which version a client approved (legitimate interest). Kept with the product.
• Free PDF check: we do not keep your file. We keep a hashed form of your IP address and a daily counter for 7 days to limit use (legitimate interest).
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we keep the plan and invoice records the law requires.

Who processes data for us

Fly.io (hosting, Frankfurt, EU), Cloudflare R2 (file storage, EU), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), OpenRouter (language model calls for briefs, looks and translations; we send product facts, never your account data).

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Write to hello@kalup.app.

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
